First-aid measures

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water, CO2 extinguishers, dry chemical and foam.
Hazardous termal decomposition products: Combustion produces toxic gases.
Protection of fire-fighters: Use respiratory protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Evacuate personnel from risk areas. Mark the affected area. Work with breathing apparatus.
Clean-up methods: Sweep up, place in a properly labeled container for disposal. Ventilate the area and wash the affected area after removing the product.

Handling and storage

Handle the substance under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18(4) of REACH Regulation. Rigorous containment should be achieved.

Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Exposure controls / personal protection

The substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:
The substance should be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies should be in place in order to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).

Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used in cases of accidents and where waste is generated. The PPE may be also used as a good practice.
