Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Using a weight of evidence approache base on five QSAR software, we assume that the vapour pressure of DPTT is below 1e-7 pa at 25°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Five differents sources of data are use for the vapour pressure estimation of DPTT, all are QSAR type.

  • According to an estimation made with ACD Labs software, vapour pressure of Dipentamethylene thiurame hexasulphide is about 2.23e-13 torr (i.e. 2.97e-11 Pa) at 25°C.
  • According to an estimation made with ACD Labs software, vapour pressure of Dipentamethylene thiurame tetrasulphide is about 1.6e-10 torr (i.e. 2.13e-8 Pa) at 25°C.
  • According to an estimation made with ACD Labs software, vapour pressure of Dipentamethylene thiurame tetrasulphide is about 1.6e-10 torr (i.e. 2.13e-8 Pa) at 25°C.
  • According to Sparc software, vapour pressure of Dipentamethylene thiurame hexasulphide is 5.69e-17 Pa at 25°C. Value is below the confiance domain. we can just affirm that Vp of Dipentamethylene thiurame hexasulphide is below 1e-7 Pa at 25°C
  • According to an estimation made with ACD Labs software, vapour pressure of Dipentamethylene thiurame tetrasulphide is about 1.6e-10 torr (i.e. 2.13e-8 Pa) at 25°C All these information confirm that the VP of DPTT is very low (below 1e-7 Pa at 25°C)
