The acute toxicity of citronellyl acetate to Desmodemus subspicatus was tested in a guideline study according to OECD 201. At test termination after 72 hours an EC50 > 7.2 mg/l based on algal growth rate was detected. The concentrations was analytically determined (BASF SE, 2010).
