Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Remarks on result:
no self-ignition observed up to the melting point

Any other information on results incl. tables

No significant endothermic or exothermic effect of the test item was observed between 19°C and 195°C.  After the experiment, the test item had turned into a black charred residue and was collected in a container that was placed below the cube.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
No self-ignition was observed up to the melting point.
Executive summary:

In a GLP study performed according to EC A.16, no self-ignition was observed up to the melting point (i.e. at 195°C).
