Any other information on results incl. tables

Results from the preliminary test: An endothermic heat effect, the melting, was observed under room pressure. The reaction started at about 80 deg C and showed the endothermic maximum at about 108 deg C. After the experiment, the sample had lost about 82 % of its mass and the color of the sample was changed to black.

Results from the main study: In order to determine the melting point more precisely, further tests were performed using the capillary tester. A total of 6 samples was heated with a heating rate of 1 K/mm. The melting range of the samples was determined visually to be between about 86 deg C and 109 deg C. The appearance at 86 deg C corresponds to what is described as stage A in the OECD guideline 102. At 109 deg C a clear brown solution was obtained.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the melting range of T002019 is determined to be between 86°C- 109°C (capillary test) and 80°C - 108°C (differential thermal calorimeter method).
