Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A study was performed to assess the chronic toxicity of the test item toDaphnia magna. The method followed was designed to be compatible with the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals (2012) No 211, "Daphnia magna Reproduction Test" referenced as Method C.20 of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008.

The 21-Day EC50(reproduction) value, based on nominal test concentrations, was estimated to be greater than 100 mg/L.

The "No Observed Effect Concentration" was considered to be 100 mg/L on the basis that at this test concentration there were no significant mortalities (immobilization) observed in the parental generation (P1) and that there were no significant differences (P³0.05) between the control and the 100 mg/L test group in terms of numbers of live young produced per adult by Day 21.
