Description of key information
No long-term toxicity data were avaialbe for 2,6-dimethylheptan-4-one (diisobutyl ketone or DIBK) exposed to freshwater or marine fishes.

Additional information
Diisobutyl ketone has a low potential for bioaccumulation and is readily biodegradable having a predicted BCF value of 130 L/kg. The risk assessment shows that the estimated PEC/PNEC ratios are clearly <1 indicating no further information or testing is needed.
