Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The relative density of the test item was determined according to European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.3., OECD Guideline 109 and US EPA Product Properties Test Guideline OCSPP 830.7300. Calibrated pycnometers were initially weighed, approximately 8 to 10 g of the test item were added and the pycnometers were weighted again. Then the pycnometers were carefully filled with the displacement liquid (water) and the final weight was determined. The determination of the relative density was performed twice.

The relative density was calculated from the difference in mass of the empty and the filled pycnometer and its known volume by subtracting the known volume of the displacement liquid.

The relative density of Oxophos 64i at 20°C

as mean value of two determinations was:

D204 = 1.182
