Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. The CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics (2008) report the density of the test item to be 1.0415 g/cm3 at 20 °C. Furthermore the GESTIS Database (2014) reports the density of the test item to be 1.05 g/cm3 at 20 °C and the Handbook of physical-chemical properties and environmental fate for organic chemicals. 2nd ed. reports the density of the test item to be 1.0468 g/cm3 at 20 °C. All available sources report the density to be in the same range and were therefore regarded as reliable. The density of 1.0415 g/cm3 at 20 °C was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment as it was from the most reliable literature source.
