Additional information

In accordance with section 2 of REACH regulation (1907/2006) Annex XI, the study does not need to be performed due to the fact that it is technically not feasible. In fact the solubility of the test substance cannot be measured because of its instability in solution, change of solubility according to the pH range and precipitate formation. According to ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment R.7.1.17, the dissociation constant in water is important for ionisable organic substances, while Boehmite is inorganic.
