Description of key information
Benzoic acid, C12 -15 -alkyl esters was tested in a Modified Sturm Test according to the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals, No.: 301 B, July 17th, 1992: Ready Biodegradability, CO2Evolution Test (Modified Sturm Test) for 28 days (and 29 days after acidification) to determine whether the test substance is readily biodegradable.
The degradation of the test item was 102.8% within 28 days (after acidification). The test item reached the criterion for ready biodegradability.
