At 98.7 kPa (i.e. at normal pressure), decomposition started at ca. 275 °C, before reaching the boiling point.

Visual investigation (separate test): At 230 °C the test substance was a pale yellow liquid, after 30 seconds at 275 °C the colour was clearly brown and after 30 seconds at 295 °C it was distinctly dark brown with bubbles visible.

For the expected boiling point at a reduced pressure of 0.16 Pa a value of 100.6 °C was given in the study report. This value is based on the vapour pressure data reported in study AG-91/2T.VPC (see IUCLID section 4.6) for the liquid phase between 80.5 and 185.9 °C.

Conclusions:
The study is considered to be adequate and reliable.
Executive summary:

The determination of the boiling point at normal pressure was not possible, since decomposition started at ca. 275 °C, before the boiling point was reached.

The expected boiling point at a reduced pressure of 0.16 Pa was reported as 100.6 °C (based on vapour pressure data).

One guideline study is available. No boiling point could be measured, since the substance started to decompose before boiling. However the study is considered to be reliable and adequate, and is carried forward for use in risk assessment, classification and labelling.
