Additional information

Based on an HPLC estimation method according to OECD Guideline 121, the log Koc of the main constituents of the test substance, pentaerythritol triacrylate (PETIA) and pentaerythritol tetraacrylate (PETRA), is below 3 so that only low to moderate soil binding is likely.

Given its relatively low vapour pressure, PETIA is not likely to partition to the atmosphere under environmental conditions. Aerosols and vapours may nevertheless be produced under particular conditions, e.g. spraying applications or elevated temperature/pressure.
