Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

TREGDMA has a log Kow of 2.3, a low potential for adsorption to soil (based on an estimated log Koc of 1.89) and is readily biodegradable. Results from a Mackay level III distribution modelling indicate that if TREGDMA is released into air, it mainly distributes to soil. A smaller amount remains in the air or partitions to water. If the substance is released into water, it mainly remains in water.

The PNECs for soil have been derived from the PNEC for freshwater using the equilibrium partitioning method.

Using this PNECsoil value, the risk characterisation showed that the PEC/PNECsoil ratio is <1, indicating that the testing of effects on terrestrial organisms is not necessary. The available data are sufficient for risk characterisation.
