Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One short-term study with rice fish (Oryzias latipes) from 2007 is available (2007-0320-FGO). The study was conducted according to GLP-standard and the Japanese Circular on Test Methods of New Chemical Substances, equivalent to OECD guideline 203. Based on analytically verified test concentrations under semi-static conditions, the LC50 (96 h) for rice fish was observed to be greater than 100 mg/L (nominal, corresponding to 95.2 mg/L, measured (TWA)) which was the highest concentration tested. However, the cumulative mortality after 96 h amounted to 40% at the highest test concentration while there occurred no mortality at concentrations below 100 mg/L. Additionally, behavioural abnormalities like reduced swimming and abnormal swimming (surfacing) are reported for 32 mg/L at 96 h and for all time points at 100 mg/L.
