Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Hansen (2011b), OECD 103, EU Method A.2, the test material was observed to decompose from 180 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the key study (Hansen, 2011b) the boiling point of the test material was investigated according to the standardised guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.2, using the distillation method. The boiling point was not determined as the test material started to decompose at 180 ºC. A reliability score of 1 was assigned, in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality in line with the principles described by Klimisch (1997).

Supporting information is available in the form of a Look Chem (2012) entry and a company material safety data sheet (Arkema, 2007). The boiling points were reported to be 647.5 °C at 760 mm Hg and > 204 °C at 10 mm Hg, respectively. Since no information was available on the materials or methods these sources were assigned a reliability score of 4 in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch (1997).
