Description of key information

The acute toxicity (96 hour) of Bis(4‐(1,1,3,3‐tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)amine to the freshwater fish rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is LC50 >100% v/v saturated solution. The NOEC is 100% v/v saturated solution. (Harlan Laboratories, 2013).

Additional information

In an study conducted in accordance with OECD 203, the 96- hour acute toxicity study to freshwater fish (Oncorhynchus mykiss), conducted according to GLP, the NOEC of Bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)amine is 100% v/v saturated solution (tested at the limit of water solubility. Water solubility is <0.1 mg/l based uponIntertek, 2012(Harlan Laboratories, 2013).
