Justification:

According to REACH VO 1907/2006, Section 1 Annex XIII,  an organic substance is only regarded as a PBT/vPvB (Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic/very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative) when test data show that the inherent properties of the substance fulfil the criteria for P, B and T. In case of 5-methylhexan-2-one, the substance does fulfill the T-criterion (Classificaiton as Repro Cat. 2), but not the P- or B-criterion, as it has been shown to be readily biodegradable and has a partition coefficient < 4.5. Therefore, the substance is "not PBT" and "not vPvB".
