First-aid measures

INHALATION:
Remove to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration.

SKIN CONTACT:
In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and
water.

EYE CONTACT:
In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Call a physician immediately.

INGESTION:
Call a physician immediately. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting without
medical advice. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Water spray, Dry powder, Foam

SPECIFIC HAZARDS DURING FIRE FIGHTING:
Heating or fire can release toxic gas.

SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE-FIGHTERS:
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Use water spray to cool unopened containers. Heating or fire can release toxic gases.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
Use respirator when performing operations involving potential exposure to vapour of the product.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS:
Prevent product from entering drains.

METHODS FOR CLEANING UP:
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal.

HANDLING:
Advice on safe handling:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion :
Highly flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

STORAGE:
Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Keep container tightly closed. To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight. Keep in a dry, cool and well ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1) PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

1.1) HYGIENE MEASURES:
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.

1.2) RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:
In the case of vapour formation use a respirator with an approved filter. Respirator with a vapour filter (EN 141).

1.3) HAND PROTECTION:
Suitable material : Nitrile rubber - Break through time : > 480 min
Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).

1.4) EYE PROTECTION:
Tightly fitting safety goggles

1.5) SKIN AND BODY PROTECTION:
Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. No special protective equipment required.

2) ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MEASURES:
Use in tightly closed reaction vessel only. Waste or remaining substance has to be incinerated in an authorized incineration facility equipped with flue-gas scrubbing. Contaminated process waters have to be pre-treated in an industrial waste water treatment plant before discharging.

Disposal considerations

1) WASTE FROM RESIDUES:
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Contact waste disposal services.

2) CONTAMINATED PACKAGING:
Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration.
