Justification for classification or non-classification
Flammable liquids:
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 section 2.6.1, flammable liquid means a liquid have a flash point of not more than 60℃. The flash point of this substance was determined as 87.8℃, so the classification procedure need not be applied for this substance.
Pyrophoric liquids:
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 section 2.9.4.1, the classification procedure for pyrophoric liquids need not be applied when experience in manufacture or handling shows that the substance or mixture does not ignite spontaneously on coming into contact with air at normal temperatures (i.e. the substance is known to be stable at room temperature for prolonged periods of time (days)). As experience show this substance does not ignite spontaneously on coming into contact with air at normal temperature, so the classification procedure for pyrophoric liquids need not be applied for this substance.
Substances and mixtures which in contact with water emit flammable gases:
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 section 2.12.4.1(a), the classification procedure for this class need not be applied if the chemical structure of the substance or mixture does not contain metals or metalloids. As no metals or metalloids present in the molecule of this substance, so the classification procedure for this class need not be applied for this substance.
