Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If respiratory irritation
develops, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with large amounts of water for at least
15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower
eyelids. Call a physician, if eye irritation develops.
Emergency measure - Skin: Not a skin irritant. Washing any substance off the skin with
water is a good safety practice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately drink large quantities of water.Do not induce
vomiting. Consult a physician at once.
Do not give anything by mouth if the person is unconscious
or if having convulsions.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Alcohol foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water spray.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Normal fire fighting equipment including self contained
breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spill mitigation procedures:
Evacuation procedures must be placed into effect. Hazardous
concentrations in air may be found in local spill area and
immediately downwind.
Remove all sources of ignition. Stop source of spill as soon
as possible and notify appropriate personnel.
Air release: Dust must be suppressed by the use of water
fog.
Water release: this material is insoluble in water.
Notify all down-stream users of possible contamination.
Divert water flow around spill if possible and safe to do
so. If unable to divert, create a filtration dam to remove
material. Continue to handle as described in land spill.
Land spill: Do not place spill materials back in their
original containers. Containerize and label all spill
materials properly. Decontaminate all clothing and the spill
area using detergent and flush with large amounts of water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not take internally, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing.
Upon contact with skin or eyes, wash off with water.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place.
Do not subject to mechanical shock.
Do not expose to direct light.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 4-10L glass vessels, "mowpack"
