Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Details on results:
Based on the experimental results obtained in a Daphnia magna Reproduction Test on the analogue substance 2-butanone oxime (21d-LC50 > 100 mg/L, 21d-EC50 > 100 mg/L and 21d-NOEC >= 100 mg/L ), the read-across approach was applied and the 21-LC50 (based on parental mortality) of butan-2-one O,O',O''-(methylsilanetriyl)oxime in Daphnia magna was determined to be > 115.34 mg/L, the 21-EC50 (based on reproduction) > 115.34 mg/L and the 21d-NOEC (based on reproduction) >= 115.34 mg/L.

See the "Data Matrix" and the "Reporting Format" attached.

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not applicable
Conclusions:
Based on the read-across approach from experimental data on the analogue substance butanone oxime, the 21-LC50 (based on parental mortality) of butan-2-one O,O',O''-(methylsilanetriyl)oxime in Daphnia magna was determined to be > 115.34 mg/L, the 21-EC50 (based on reproduction) > 115.34 mg/L and the 21d-NOEC (based on reproduction) >= 115.34 mg/L
Executive summary:

A Daphnia magna reproduction test was performed by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment according to OECD TG 211. The test was performed during 21 days. The 21d-EC50 (basis for effect: reproduction) and 21d-NOEC for test substance butanone oxime in Daphnia magna was determined to be >100 mg/L. The 21d-LC50 of parent daphnias was > 100 mg/L. Based on these results the read-across approach was applied and the 21-LC50 (based on parental mortality) of butan-2-one O,O',O''-(methylsilanetriyl)oxime in Daphnia magna was determined to be > 115.34 mg/L, the 21-EC50 (based on reproduction) > 115.34 mg/L and the 21d-NOEC (based on reproduction) >= 115.34 mg/L.

Description of key information

Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach from analogue 2-butanone oxime:

Based on the read-across approach from experimental results on analogue butanone oxime (test method OECD 211, 21d-LC50 > 100 mg/L, 21d-EC50 > 100 mg/L and 21d-NOEC >= 100 mg/L), the 21-LC50 (based on parental mortality) of butan-2-one O,O',O''-(methylsilanetriyl)oxime in Daphnia magna was determined to be > 115.34 mg/L, the 21-EC50 (based on reproduction) > 115.34 mg/L and the 21d-NOEC (based on reproduction) >= 115.34 mg/L
