First-aid measures
General advice
Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Medical treatment is necessary if symptoms occur which are obviously caused by skin or eye contact with the product or by inhalation of its vapours.Symptoms upon increasing intoxication: dysopia, loss of eyesight.
Inhalation
Move subject to fresh air and keep him calm. Formation of a toxic lung edema is possible if product continues to be inhaled despite acute irritative effect (e.g. if it is not possible to leave the danger area). Contact a doctor immediately.
Skin contact
Wash off immediately with soap and water. Consult a a physician.
Eye contact
Flush eyes thoroughly with a large amount of water and consult a physician.
Ingestion
Contact a doctor immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
After absorbing large amounts of substance:, Impairment of the central nervous system, headache, Daze, Causes skin and eye irritation., May cause irritations of the respiratory tract., Risk for loss of sight following resorption.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Closed container may rupture if strongly heated. In case of fire cool endangered containers with water. Forms explosive mixtures with air. Combustible air-vapour mixtures are heavier than the air and spread along the floor. Ignition from a considerable distance is possible. Further information:
Water for fire fighting must not be introduced in the sewer system, subsoil, or surface waters. Assure that there are sufficient fire water retaining facilities Contaminated fire fighting water must be disposed of in conformity with the regulations of the local authorities.
Accidental release measures
Assure sufficient ventilation. Avoid inhalation. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental precautions
Prevent product from getting into drains/surface water/groundwater.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Larger quantities: Remove mechanically (by pumping). Use explosion-proof equipment! Smaller quantities and/or residues: Contain with absorbent material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid absorbent, universal absorbent or sawdust). Dispose of in accordance with regulations.
Handling and storage
Safe handling advice
Keep container tightly closed. Provide good room ventilation even at ground level (vapours are heavier than air). Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
In the event of fire, cool the endangered containers with water. When heated above the flash point and/or during spraying (atomizing), ignitible mixtures may fom in air. Ignitable mixtures can form in the empty container.

Requirements for storage areas and containers
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Store in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid inhalation of vapour. Wearing of closed work
clothing is required additionally to the stated personal protection equipment.
Body protection:
Body protection must be chosen depending on activity and possible exposure, e.g. apron, protecting
boots, chemical-protection suit.
Respiratory protection:
Wear respiratory protection if ventilation is inadequate. Gas filter for gases/vapours of organic
compounds , Type A.
Eye protection:
Tightly fitting safety goggles (splash goggles) (e.g. EN 166)
Hand protection:
Chemical resistant protective gloves (EN 374)
Suitable materials also with prolonged, direct contact (Recommended: Protective index 6,
corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374)
Due to many conditions (e.g. temperature) it must be considered, that the practical usage of a chemical-protective glove in practice
may be much shorter than the permeation time determined through testing.
Manufacturer's directions for use should be observed because of great diversity of types.

Disposal considerations
Product
Waste is hazardous. It must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations after consultation of the competent local authorities and the disposal company in a suitable and licensed facility.
Uncleaned packaging
Contaminated packaging should ideally be emptied; it can then be recycled after having been decontaminated. Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of professionally. Uncontaminated packaging may be taken for recycling.
