First-aid measures

INHALATION

Dust irritates the respiratory system, and may cause coughing and difficulties in breathing. Move into fresh air and keep at rest. Get medical attention.

INGESTION

DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Drink a few glasses of water or milk. Get medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists

after washing.

EYE CONTACT

Immediately rinse with water. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

Alcohol resistant foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Water spray. Do not allow runoffs! This chemical is toxic to organisms in water.

UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS

In case of fire, toxic gases may be formed (COx, NOx).

PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE

Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS

Provide adequate ventilation. Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS

Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses. Inform Authorities if large amounts are involved. Prevent further spillage if safe.

SPILL CLEAN UP METHODS

Remove spillage with vacuum cleaner. If not possible, collect spillage with shovel, broom or the like. Transfer to a container for disposal. Containers with collected spillage must be properly labelled with correct contents and hazard symbol.

Handling and storage

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Provide good ventilation. Avoid spread of dust.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS

Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Contact specialist disposal companies. For disposal within the EC, the appropriate code according to the European Waste

Catalogue (EWC) should be used. Do NOT reuse empty containers. Contaminated packaging should be treated as for the

substance/preparation.
