SKIN CONTACT: Wash the skin with plenty of water and soap.

EYE CONTACT: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical advice.

INGESTION: Rinse the mouth with clean water, do not induce vomiting, give activated charcoal (5 crushed tablets in a small amount of water), seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE: In case of burning, toxic gases may be formed (carbon oxides).

ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

For non-emergency personnel: Do not breathe dust. Eliminate ignition sources.

For Emergency Responders: Use suitable personal protective equipment.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS

Avoid product release into a water stream and drains.

Inform the relevant authorities (police, fire brigades) if the product has caused environmental pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).

METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP

Avoid generation of dust.

INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION MEASURES, PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.

All used personal protective equipment must be in accordance with Directive 89/686/EEC.

Respiratory Protection: suitable respirator when dust is generated

Hand Protection: protective gloves

Eye / Face Protection: tight protective goggles

Skin Protection: protective clothing and safety shoes

Employees passed a specific training on use the protective equipment.

ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE CONTROLS

Avoid an uncontrolled release of the substance/mixture to the environment.

Stability and reactivity

REACTIVITY  and POSSIBILITY OF HAZARDOUS REACTIONS

Dust mixed with air is easily flammable.

The crystals may be very easily electrostatically charged.

CHEMICAL STABILITY

Stable under normal conditions.

CONDITIONS TO AVOID

Sources of ignition.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS

Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products should not be produced.

Disposal considerations

DISPOSAL METHODS OF THE SUBSTANCE

Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and incinerate at a reserved and approved place in accordance with regulations.

DISPOSAL METHODS OF THE CONTAMINATED PACKAGING

Incinerate paper sacks in incinerating plant for danger waste.
