Administrative data

First-aid measures

General advice  : Remove from exposure, lie down. When symptoms persist or in all cases of doubt seek medical advice.

Inhalation  : Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Call a physician immediately.

Skin contact  : Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Discard contaminated shoes.

Eye contact  : Remove contact lenses. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Ingestion  : Rinse mouth. Induce vomiting if person is conscious. Immediately give large quantities of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Obtain medical attention.

Notes to physician

Treatment  : Vitamin K1 is a specific antidote.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media  : Water spray, Dry powder, Foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2),

Specific hazards during fire fighting  : Hazardous decomposition products Carbon dioxide (CO2) Carbon monoxide

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters  : Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Further information  : Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Personal precautions  : Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear suitable protective equipment.

Environmental precautions  : Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods for cleaning up  : Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Avoid dust formation. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.

Additional advice  : Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Advice on safe handling  : Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe dust. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion  : Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.

Storage

Requirements for storage areas and containers  : Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Advice on common storage  : Keep away from oxidising agents and strongly acid or alkaline materials.
