Administrative data

Endpoint:
bioaccumulation in aquatic species: fish
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment to the substance is unlikely
other:
Justification for type of information:
n accordance with Annex IX, Column 2 of the REACH Regulation bioaccumulation testing is not required if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation, has a low potential to cross biological membranes, or direct and indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment is unlikely. A value for the partition coefficient of Fe3P is not available, as the substance is inorganic, however it is considered unlikely that Fe3P will bioaccumulate. The life cycle for Fe3P does not include any release of the substance to aqueous waste streams or use in the aquatic environment, and all residues from industrial processes are collected for disposal by incineration, and direct and indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment to Fe3P is considered unlikely.
