Additional information

A flammability determination was performed as part of a package of Physicochemical testing (Huntingdon Life Sciences, 2011, Study FGE0002). The flammability was determined according to EU Method A10, and the study was conducted in compliance with GLP.

Fe3P was found not to be highly flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Fe3P showed no evidence of flammability when assessed according to EU test methods A10. On this basis it may be concluded that classification as flammable is not required. This conclusion applies to the following Physical Hazards:

Pyrophoric solids

Substances and mixtures which in contact with water emit flammable gases
