Key value for chemical safety assessment

Genetic toxicity in vitro

Description of key information

The test substance was examined for mutagenic activity in the Ames test using the histidine requiringSalmonella typhimuriummutants TA 1535, TA 97, TA 98, TA 100 and TA 102 as indicator strains and a liver mircosome fraction of Aroclor-induced rats for metabolic activation (S-9 mix).

It was concluded that the test substance did not show mutagenic activity in any of the S. typhimuriumstrains, either in absence or in the presence of the S-9 mix.

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (negative)

Genetic toxicity in vivo

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
