Individual Results

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 70 °C to 120 °C. According to sponsor's information the test item has several constituents. A molecular mass of 355.57 g/mol (C21H41NO3, stearoyl sarcosine, most abundant constituent) was used to calculate the vapour pressure according to the Hertz-Knudsen equation. The vapour pressures at the corresponding temperatures are listed in Table 1. After the measurement a mass loss of approx. 11 % (w/w) was determined of the starting sample weight (858.8 mg).

The vapour pressure values for 20, 25 and 50 °C are calculated, using the Antoine constants A, B and C as shown in Table 2.
