First-aid measures

General advice: Remove contaminated, soaked clothing immediately and dispose of safely. Adhere to personal protective measures when giving first aid

Inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air. In the event of symptoms take medical treatment.

Skin contact: After skin contact wash off immediately with 1 % acetic acid solution, then clean thoroughly with soap and water. Summon a doctor immediately.

Eye contact: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice

Ingestion: Drink large quantities of water with activated carbon, do not induce vomiting; consult a physician. Show this data sheet.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In the event of fire the following can be released:

- carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide

- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Advice for firefighters: Do not inhale explosion and/or combustion gases. Use self-contained breathing apparatus and wear protective suit. Collect contaminated firefighting water separately, must not be discharged into the drains.

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Contain with absorbent material (eg sand, peat, earth) and take up. Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.

Handling and storage

Hygiene measures: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Do not eat, drink or smoke when working.

General protective measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale vapours.
