Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Keep the patient warm and at rest.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Cleanse affected area(s) thoroughly by washing with mild soap and plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs:Call a doctor/physician.
Eye contact: Immediately rinse with running water continuously for at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists:Call a doctor/physician.
Ingestion: If the exposed person is conscious, help to rinse the mouth with water.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Foam, water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Incomplete combustion may form harmful fumes.
Advice for firefighters: In large fires or in confined areas, use appropriate protective equipment and a self-contained breathing apparatus. Keep storage containers cool with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Plug the leak if it can be done safely. Use appropriate personal protection. Restrict access to the area. Ventilate area if confined.
Environmental precautions: Prevent entry into sewers, soil and waterways. If the product pollutes lakes, watercourses or drainage systems, inform the local authorities.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with inert materials, such as sand or earth, and collect in suitable containers to be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Clean affected surfaces and ventilate the area.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Ensure that the current Occupational Safety and Health Act legislation is followed. Avoid skin and eye contact and breathing vapours.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Storage in cool, well ventilated area in tightly sealed containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls: If indoors, preferably use local exhaust ventilation.
Eye/face protection: Use safety goggles.
Skin protection: Wear appropriate protective clothing. Wash the skin after exposure.
Hand protection: Use appropriate chemical resistant gloves.
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, approved respiratory protective equipment should be worn (gas filter, class A).

Stability and reactivity

Chemically stable in recommended conditions of handling, use and storage.

Disposal considerations

Unused product must be treated as hazardous waste. Disposal according to current national and local official regulations.
