Decomp. temp.:
ca. 160 °C

Run 1 test run up to 160ºC, no boiling was observed. The material solidified in tube.

Run 2 was carried out to try and establish the onset of hardening. The capillary tube was gently rotated every 5ºC starting at 21.8ºC. At 161.8ºC movement became more difficult with complete setting at 164.6ºC. Approximately 7 bubbles were produced between 142ºC and 158ºC these became immobilised in the tube as the test material set.

The test item appears to undergo possible decomposition, curing or solvent loss at approximately 160ºC.

The Safety Data Sheet provided states the boiling point as 98-99ºC at 0.1 mmHg.

Conclusions:
No Boiling observed. The test item appears to undergo possible decomposition, curing or solvent loss at approximately 160ºC.

Additional information:
The Safety Data Sheet provided states the boiling point as 98-99ºC at 0.1 mmHg.
Executive summary:

The boiling point study of the test item was carried out based on the procedures indicated by the following internationally accepted methods:

- OECD Guideline 103

- EU Method A.2

No Boiling observed. The test item appears to undergo possible decomposition, curing or solvent loss at approximately 160ºC.

Additional information:

The Safety Data Sheet provided states the boiling point as 98-99ºC at 0.1 mmHg.
