Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test item is yellow solid at ambient temperature.

The melting point was found to be in the range 37.2 to 39.4 °C (310.3 to 312.5 K) by differential scanning calorimetry and the boiling point was not determined as the tets item decomposed from approximately 250.6 °C (523.7 K) prior to boiling at 101.2 kPa.

The density was determined to be 1.21 x 103 kg/m3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, using the a gas comparison pycnometer.

The proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size of less than 100 μm was determined by a sieve method to be 6.76%.

Using Vapor method, the vapor pressure was found to be less than 2.3 x 10-3 Pa at 25 °C.

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 0.33 mg/L @ 20 °C using the column elution method and the partition coefficient of the test item has been determined as log P  0.969 to > 6.5 (95.8% having a log10 Pow of 4.46) (HPLC method).

The surface tension study does not need to be conducted because Water Solubility is below 1 mg/L at 20°C and the flash point was also waived because of the physical state of the test item. Flash point is only a relevant property for liquids.

The self-ignition temperature was determiend to be 530 ± 5 °C and the test item is not flammable. Oxidising properties and explosives properties turned out to be all negatif due to the chemival structure of the test item.
