The screening evaluation failed to evidence any reason of concern, on the basis of the thermal behaviour investigation.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC n. 1272/2008), 2.1.4.2. Screening procedure section, the screening procedure is aimed at identifying the presence of such reactive groups and the potential for rapid energy release. If the screening procedure identifies the substance or mixture to be a potential explosive, the acceptance procedure (section 10.3 of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria) has to be performed.

In conclusion, the substance can be considered non explosive, according to the CLP Regulation (EC n. 1272/2008).
