Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

After inhalation: Remove concerned person out of danger area in a well-aerated place; if aliments symptoms happen, look for medical assistance. After skin contact : Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Wash immediately the contaminated part with water and rinse. After eye contact : Immediately wash and abundantly (at least 10 minutes) with running water holding the open eyelids. Remove contact lenses, keep eyelids open. After ingestion : Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Not combustible under normal conditions.

Accidental release measures

Avoid exposure using suitable PPE . Eliminate free flames or ignition sources. Avoid creating dusty conditions. Avoid the product dispersion in the subsoil and in the streams. In case of contamination of water-courses, drains or ground, inform competent Authorities. Contain and collect spillage with a vacuum cleaner or by wet brushing and place in container for disposal according to local regulations. Wash the contaminated area with water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Normal precautions taken when handling chemicals should be observed. Use the maximum caution in manipulating or opening the container. Avoid inhalation, contact with the skin and eyes using suitable DPI. Provide a good aeration in stores and working places. Avoid creating dusty conditions. Don't smoke neither drink or eat during the manipulation.Storage: Preserve the well closed packings in fresh, dry and aerated place. Shelter from heat, free flames, sparks and electrostatic positions sources. Adopt fireproof precautions in the store area.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection : Filters capturing particles. Hand protection: Impermeable gloves resistant to chemical products.Take into account that the resistance of the gloves could be influenced by different factors, e.g. the work condition or temperature. Consequently the resistance could be different from the one indicated by the permeation data for a certain type of gloves.Eye protection : Protective glasses with lateral protectionsBody protection : Workers have to wear closed working clothes. The contaminated clothing should be washed before re-using them. Additional information about engineering measures : Ventilation of the local where the product has been stored and/or manipulated. Provide adequate ventilation. If this is not sufficient to maintain concentrations of particulates and solvent vapour below the OEL (=Occupational Exposure Limit) , suitable respiratory protection must be worn.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods : The disposal must be made in conformity with actual rules, in authorized dump or thermodistructions plant. Do not empty into waters or drains. Contaminated packaging : Not reclaimable packs must be disposed with the product. Do not release in the environment.
