Conclusion on classification

The LC/EC50s for acute aquatic endpoints (96-hour LC50 in fish of 1.78 mg/L; 48-hour EC50 of 92.9 mg/L in daphnids, and 72-hour ErC50 of >14.4 mg/L in algae) do not warrant an acute aquatic classification according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The NOEC of 0.131 mg/L in a fish early life cycle study along with the lack of ready biodegradation would warrant a Chronic Aquatic Cat 2 ( H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects) according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
