Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The results from the duplicate determinations showed reproducibility of less than ± 20 kg/m3; therefore, the results were considered acceptable.

Conclusions:
The density is similar to water.
Executive summary:

The density of the test substance was measured under GLP according OECD 109 / EU A3 guideline, gas comparison pycnometer method. After triplicate calibration, two independent samples were measured in triplicate, and the mean density at 20°C was calculated to be 1040 kg/m3. This results was then converted to relative density towards water at 4°C.

The density of the test substance at 20°C is 1040 kg/m3, and its relative density D(20/4) is 1.04.

Description of key information

The density of the test substance at 20.6°C is 1040 kg/m3, and its relative density D(20/4) is 1.04.

The density is similar to water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.04
