Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
As the test item did not freeze in the course of the preliminary test, the main test was not performed. Based on the preliminary test freezing point of the test item is below -29 °C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 102, Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.1 and EPA OPPTS 830.7200 to determine the freezing point of the test. In order to check the approximate freezing temperature 1 mL of the test item was transferred into 2 mL cryovials. Four replicate tubes were placed in the freezer. After 26 hours storage period two replicate tubes were removed and the physical state of the test item was examined. The remaining tubes were turned over and immediately put back into the freezer for another 24 hours. Then these tubes were checked if the test item could flow through to the cap of the tube. The test item did not freeze in the course of the preliminary test, therefore, no main test was performed and the freezing point of the test item was stated to be below -29 °C.

Description of key information
