For this endpoint, the read across between PWH/ammonium and PWH/sodium salt is valid, because this environmental property is defined by the main component.The read across justification that takes into account the ammonium ion properties is attached on section 13 of the dossier.

Based on Annex VII, column 2 of REACH Regulation the study does not need to be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient). An estimated value has been provided for risk assessment.

The final UVCB substance is considered not mobile in soil, with water as the main target compartment.
