Additional information

The substance is a orange fine powder, solid at 20°C.

The test item is decomposed at approximately 275 °C (548 K), as the test item decomposed, no value for melting temperature could be determined.

The test item has been determined to decompose prior to melting " therefore under the terms stated Under COLUMN 2 "SPECIFIC RULES FOR ADAPTATION FROM COLUMN 1" in the REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 18 December 2006, The boiling point study does not need to be conducted "for solids which decompose before boiling.

The relative density of the test item has been determined to be 1.69 (density 1.69 x 103kg/m3) at 20.0 ± 1.0 °C.

In the particle size distribution study, the proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size < 100 μm was found to be 96.3 %, the proportion of test item having a thoracic particle size < 10 μm was1.47 % and the proportion of test item having a respirable particle size < 5.5 μm was0.647 %.

The vapor pressure of the test item has been calculated to be less than 1.8 x 10-7Pa at 25 °C

The Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water) was determined to be 2.21 x 10-4at 22.0 ± 0.5 °C, log10Pow-3.66, using the shake-flask.

The water solubility has been determined to be 148 g/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, using the flask method.

The surface tension study was waives in accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, this study does not need to be conducted if surface activity is not expected and no surface-active properties would be predicted for this compound. (Surface activity is not a desired property of the material).

The flash point study was waived in accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the flash point study does not need to be conducted based on the physical state of the substance. According to ECHA guidance, flash point is only relevant to substances that are liquid at room temperature.

The test item showed no signs of self-ignition or self heating below 400 °C.

The substance has neither flammable properties, explosives properties and oxidizing properties.
