Description of key information

The acute toxicity study of TM 11-212 was conducted with zebra fish (Danio rerio) over a 96-hour exposure period according to the OECD Test Guideline 203 and gave an LC50 of 3.84 mg.L-1.
Based on the results of a preliminary test, a definitive test was conducted at the following nominal concentrations: 4.0, 5.7, 8.0, 11.3 and
16.0 µL·L-1. The corresponding mean measured concentrations, calculated using the geometric means of the fresh and expired test solutions, were 1.32, 1.60, 2.97, 7.01 and 6.58mg·L-1, respectively. The concentrations of expired solutions were 15.0%-76.5% of the initial fresh measured concentrations, and the geometric mean measured concentrations ranged from 33.5%-74.2% of the nominal concentrations. Since the deviation between nominal and measured values was larger than 20% in all concentrations, the LC50 was calculated from the geometric mean of measured concentrations.
