Data from Rose oxide (EC 939-429-1) and analogs were used as read across for the constituents constituents tetrahydro-4-methylene-2-(2-methylpropyl)-2h-pyran (DHP1, 0-2%, CAS 59848-66-7), 5,6-dihydro-4-methyl-2-(2-methylpropyl)-2h-pyran (DHP2, 0-2%, CAS 59848-65-6) and 3,6-dihydro-4-methyl-2-(2-methylpropyl)-2h-pyran (DHP3, 0-2%, CAS 59848-69-0).

Rose oxide was classified as Repro Category 3, R62 and Repro Category 2f according to Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

Therefore, a classification

as Repro Category 3, R62 according to Directive 1999/45/EG
and as Repro Category 2f according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
