Executive summary:

The determination was carried out by gas comparison pycnometer, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A3 Relative Density of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 109 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 02 October 2012.

Instrument: Gas comparison pycnometer (Multi-Pycnometer, Quantachrome, Syosset, N.Y., USA).

Calibration sphere: A stainless steel sphere with a calibrated known total volume (Vcal= 56.559 cm3).

Gas: Helium.

Test conditions: Determinations performed at 20.0°C ± 0.5 °C.

Conclusion

The density of the test item has been determined to be 973 kg/m3at 20.0 ± 0.5 ºC. The corresponding relative density has been calculated to be 0.973.
