Additional information

One study is available on the short-term toxicity of 3 -cyclohexyloxypropane-1,2 -diol (CAS No. 10305 -41 -6) to aquatic invertebrates. This key study was performed according to OECD guideline 202 and GLP (Bouwman, 2013). The test organism Daphnia magna was exposed to the test substance in a static system for 48 hours at nominal test concentrations of 0, 0.10, 1, 10 and 100 mg/L. Analysis of the samples taken from the highest test concentration showed that the actual concentration was in agreement with nominal (97%) at the start and remained stable during the test period (103% of initial at the end of the test). Given these results, the effect parameters were based on nominal concentrations. No immobilisation was observed at any of the test concentrations, hence the EC50 was reported to be > 100 mg/L (nominal).
