First-aid measures

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. Consult a physician if necessary.

Skin contact

Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Wash off with warm water and soap.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 10 minutes. Consult a physician.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.

Treatment : Symptomatic treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media : Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: burning may produce toxic and irritant gases.

Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe vapour. For personal protection see CSR.

Environmental precautions

Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up

Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, sawdust). Dispose of as special waste in compliance with local and national regulations.
