The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of Chimexane HB (lyophilized) was determined to be 158.4 mg/L.
This value was considered as the minimum Water Solubility of the Chimexane HB (lyophilized)

The determination of the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the test item CHIMEXANE HB (lyophilized) was carried out following the EEC Method A.5 and OECD 115, by measuring the surface tension of the test item in the concentration range 0.01 mg/L to 1000 mg/L.
The CMC of the Chimexane HB (lyophilized) was determined to be 158.4 mg/L.
pH of the solution and purity of the lyophilised Chimexane HB being not mentioned in the report, the study was considered as reliable with restriction.
Note also that this study has been conducted for measuring the critical micelle concentration (cmc) of the CHIMEXANE HB (lyophilised), which can be considered as the mono-molecular solubility of the CHIMEXANE HB (lyophilized) surfactant. Then, the Water solubility of the Chimexane HB was considered to be above 158.4 mg/L at 20.0°C+-0.5°C.
