Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

From the water surface the test substance will slowly evaporate into the atmosphere.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Referring to the uncharged molecule, Henry’s Law Constants were calculated for the three different substance components using SRC HENRYWIN v3.10 and v3.20, respectively:

pKa

Henry’s Law Constant

 (Pa*m3/mol)

CAS 102-71-6

7.91

4.23E-7

CAS 104-75-6

10.41

5.58

CAS 6975-33-3

3.76

4.46E-8

Due to the different dissociation constants however, the substance components are more or less protonated under environmental conditions. Considering the ionic character of the molecules under environmental pH conditions (pH 5 to 9), the volatilisation from water might be overestimated.
