Additional information

The water solubility of 1-hexyl-1H-pyrazol-4,5-diamine hemisulfate was determined according to the EPA OPPTS 830.7840 guideline (flask method) and following the GLP.

Approximately 0.05-0.07 g of test substance was placed in four screw-cap test tubes labeled Days 1-4 and the tubes were capped and weighed. Approximately 8 mL HPLC water was added to each tube and the tubes were again tightly capped. The test samples were attached to a tube rotator and mixed continuously in a 30°C incubator. On the appropriate day, the tubes were removed from the rotator and equilibrated in a 20°C incubator before analysis. They were then centrifuged for 10 minutes at 3000 RPM. The top solution was filtered with 0.45 μm microfilter and the filtrate was diluted 10X with the solvent (1:1 ACN and 0.1 M HCl). Aliquots were analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
