The mean log n-octanol/water partition coefficient (Log Kow) of MK128 was determined to be 2.29.

Introduction

The procedure employed to determine the partition coefficient is based on the "Octanol-Water Partition Coefficient Standard” as proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency and published in the Federal Register on November 21, 1980 (equivalent to OECD Guideline 107 (Partition Coefficient (n-octanol / water), Shake Flask Method)).

Summary

The mean log n-octanol/water partition coefficient (Kow) of MK128 was determined to be 2.29.

Due to the limitations of the analytical test method, the concentration of MK128 could only be detected in the aqueous phase. The concentration of MK128 in the octanol phase was calculated by mass balance.
